Landscape Oil on Board - Signed Tom Robb (b.1933)

Dimensions: In Frame H59 x W89 x D3 - Inner H50 x W60cm

Tom Robb was a Scottish born artist best known for painting to the edge of abstraction in his later works. This example has more form but still has his signature bold hues. You can see how these pieces lead to future looser works - more akin to the foreground detail seen here.

Robb was a popular artist in the 1960's and exhibited regularly in Mayfair.

Original oil on board reframed in a suitably characterful blue, paired with an off-white slip. Signed bottom right.
